I saw the Thor LT on Bud's Gun Shop online for about $1200. It's still a little pricey for me, since I'm buying a rifle for my son Ben & pistol for my wife this year, but it's half the cost of anything else on the market. It is something to save for though!
Thermal imaging scopes cost a lot though. Have any of you ever used a trap with a one-way swinging door? I've heard that you can catch a lot of hogs with them because they will keep coming in after the corn, but obviously they can't get out. I'm guessing it would have to be on a corral type...
Pascagoula River WMA isn't far from you. It isn't hunted hard and is mostly hardwood bottomland. I hunted it years ago, back in the 90's. There are some surprisingly good deer in it as far south as it is.
I know it's not about deer, but does anybody know anyone who has hog dogs in way South MS? Our place is eaten up with them this year and we really need to get rid of as many as we can. I'm in Stone county if any of y'all have any contacts anywhere near this area I would be extremely greatful!
I always shot fixed blade Muzzy 3 blade 100 grains when I could shoot a regular bow. I still use them with my vertical crossbow with no problems at all. Of course it shoots regular arrows instead of bolts, but I imagine they would fly just the same.
I never used a 4 wheeler to hunt, even after I finally bought one back in 2002, because of the potential scent getting on me, the noise, etc.. Boy, getting older sure does change all of that, lol. I take my Rhino as far as I think I can get away with!
Would be three 8 points, but the one on the left only has one on his left side instead of 4. I don't know if he damaged it or what. He is the dominant one, though. I have several pictures of him pushing those other 2 bucks around and running them off until he is done eating.
Dusty, do you have the AT&T version or the Verison one? I got the SpyPoint mini, but didn't check what version it was and it turned out to be the AT&T one. I can't get a signal at all, but I put it on the same tree as another good camera I have when I was testing it and the trigger was much...
