How is the season going

Just wandering how everyone’s season is going so far

I haven't actually sat in a stand yet, but I've got 2 good bucks that I'm trying to figure out.

I have been twice but all i have seen are some hogs but didn't have a good shot at them. had just gotten in my shooting house and didn't even have my gun loaded yet.
Got to go tomorrow the 2nd and have a C-scan done and it looks like rain Thursday so maybe i will get to go Friday.

Slow for me but wife shot a nice 8pt and she also hit an 8pt with my truck

My season is short lived .

I got an elk opening morning of 2nd rifle. I got my mule deer the 3rd morning of 2nd rifle.

Planning on heading back to MS around Xmas and might get in a hunt or two.

I shot two does early on for sausage. I have not seen a buck except on my cameras and all but one were at night.
My three hunting buddies all have one each but nothing great. Typical 6 & 8 points.

Had only seen 7 deer all season up until last Sunday. Then it all went wild at once. Saw 8 deer, 4 bucks chasing does. Then I had to go back to work. So hoping this weekend is a repeat of the last. Choctaw county

Glad to see you post Pat, I haven’t fired a shot all year but then too I haven’t been just burning the woods up.
