I know huntall mentioned using some of their trees in one of his threads?

I'm looking to plant 40 or so sawtooths, 12 pears, 12 persimmon and maybe even some more trees. These will be divided into 2 properties.

i think huntall is the tree-planting dude..

i usually get the free trees offered on arbor day
Lol....that's pretty much me...
I have had great results with their oaks.
Great looking trees and great looking root system.
I didn't have as much luck with wild deer pears but may have been because of the planting spot.
I highly recommend their oaks and I'm sure their persimmons are great also but think I'd get regular fruit trees like pears somewhere else.

It's crazy how many fruit trees I have.lol
Pears are my favorite and deer love them.
I love putting a camera on some of my pear trees when they are dropping good. Deer just wear them out day and night.

As far as native nursury I think I'd call them and see if they have any kind of price break if u buy a certain number.
Their trees arive in great shape and they pack them really well.
I would not hesitate to order from them.
You can tell they take great pride in their work.
Also....sawtooth grow so fast that bare root would be just fine verse rapid mast root system and would be lot cheaper I think.
Both should be able to purchased from nativ nursury
Good luck

Preciate it! I have thought about doing the deer pears also. Once of the properties has 2 already. This place will eventually get several fruit trees as its where I plan on building a house eventually.

Over the next 10 or so years I want to do some small clear cuts and plant oaks in those spots.
