New to Bow-Hunting

New to bow-hunting and I’d like to try a traditional bow. I used to shoot a lot, but have never Hunted with a bow. What do You use? Suggest? I’d like a Good bow, but one that wouldn’t break the bank. Thanks for any input.

any of the modern bows will perform good but because of health issues i now shoot a crossbow.
When i first got started i shot a Fred Bear recurve for several years before i moved up to a compound bow.

I'd suggest finding a local small owned bow shop and get them to provide input. They may even be able to help find you a good used bow (although i bet traditional bows are not traded in as much)

Traditional long bows and recurves have gone the way of the traditional flintlock and caplock muzzleloaders. You may get lucky finding one but probably will have to go to a custom Bow Maker
