Bow season opens this week, and it's about the hottest opening I can remember. And the mosquitos are big bad and plentiful. For the first time in years I am asking myself if I really care. I honestly think it's going to have to cool off at least into the 80s before I get excited. What are your plans?

I admire anyone who’s going and I wish you all great success. I won’t be surprised at any deer taken (probably). They seem to be on the move in this hot weather.

Not me. I dont mind hunting in hot weather, but I hate to try to work up a deer when its hot.

I saw 3 for morning hunt and 3 for evening hunt. Wife missed what woulda been her biggest buck to date, she shot right under him.
