I’m trying out the “no plow” method this year on our plots and am wondering if there is anything I can do to keep them dang turkey outta my plots till seeds germinate and sprout? I’m doing the spray, throw and mow method and I’ve done 1 bow plot Labor Day weekend and it’s full of turkey now scratching for seeds. Any help is appreciated.

Not much you can do just broadcasting seeds but come spring I can rid you of a few of them.

Be thankful you have birds?
But having the birds means you have a fairly healthy ecosystem. The property has carrying potential.
Every year I fight them booger’s.
